John Russell, Music Minister  (E-mail:  john@buckner-baptist.org) 

A native of North Georgia, John has served churches in Georgia and Tennessee before coming to Buckner in September, 2010.  He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College and currently attends the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is engaged to Laura Leigh Carlton whom he will marry on June 30, 2012. His favorite passage of Scripture is Romans 8.  It is his desire to minister to all people through music, encouraging them to use it as an expression of worship to God. 

Lynn Traylor, Pastor  (E-mail:  lynn@buckner-baptist.org)

A native of Alabama, Pastor Lynn has been a minister for over 30 years, serving churches in KY for most of that time.  He is a graduate of Samford University, and holds degrees from Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.  He has served at Buckner Baptist since 2007.  His favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13:  "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."  His desire is to see homes and families touched and lives changed by the Gospel of Christ.
