Kelly Thorn is our missions coordinator.  A native of MO., Kelly has been actively involved in missions work locally, across the States, and overseas.  Her favorite Bible story is about Philip in Acts 8:26 - 40 because it is an example of how we should daily live "on mission".  Her vision is for all believers to be willing to let God use them and their talents to live out God's love and bring others to Christ so we may all worship our Lord together!

        in May, 2008.  Dennis and Danny installed water purification systems for several villages, while Kristi
            shared the Good News of the Gospel of Christ with children through coloring books and stories.

                 Men of our church joined with other churches helping to ready a house in Buckner for living space where
               inmates can live when released from prison.  The goal is to help them move beyond prison to a normal life.

Jesus said, "I was hungry and you fed me, I was thirsty and you gave me a drink, I was homeless and you gave me a room, I was shivering and you gave me clothes, I was sick and you stopped to visit, I was in prison and you came to me...Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me---you did it to me." (Matthew 25:35-40, The Message)
